Nothing downloads after connecting to a proxy

hey guys first post here, i decided to install a proxy for vuze (torguard) and since i did nothing downloads. the proxy successfully connects but i cannot connect to any peers. i have tried disconnecting the proxy and it starts working again.

I should note that something i had added before connecting the proxy continues to download regardless so the issue seems to be with torrents that are added afterwards.

i have tried different servers on the proxy including netherlands switzerland and canada but no luck. I contacted torguard and they said that as far as they can tell everything is working fine so im wondering if maybe this is a vuze problem.

i am on windows 7 and vuze is fully updated if that is of relevance.

Have you checked out http://wiki.vuze.com/w/Proxies_And_VPNs ? Configuration is different depending on whether you are using a SOCKS proxy or VPN solution

I actually managed to solve the problem with the torguard staff's help, it turned out i needed it to be on 'v5' instead of 'v4'
