Not many torrents to search

I have used Vuse Plus for a few years now without issue however I just installed on a new computer and now up the top when I search for a TV show or movie I used to have about 10 places listed "kickass torrents etc" that would be searched but now there is only 4 and I pretty much cannot find any of the TV series and movies that I had been able to download fine. How do I get these back? Sorry if I have used the wrong words here but I am not really tech savvy.

I've never used Vuze as a search engine, but do you think the fact that the Pirate Bay and EZTV both just got shut down might have something to do with the sudden drop in torrents available?

Thank you for your reply, I am not very informed about how most of this works, I am just a plug and play user, It seems the META search (the web one doesn't seem to allow me to download through Vuse, just sends to other sites) up the top all the torrents have disappeared. I accessed my old one and followed the wiki help link on how to get these templates on the new computer but that did not work I got the names of the good ones I had but just can't add them. Would be happy if anyone can offer some suggestion on how to get them?

Same problem...I had at least 10 sites at one point and now all I see is the internet archive which cannot be deleted nor can you download anything from the listings. What happened? I know a few major torrent sites have had to change url's, and others nolonger support Vuze...there must be a way to get some of the sites back. I don't understand how to find the current templates to update the ones that may have had to change. The ones i've found posted do not work, so it seems this is the beginning of the end? If someone could please explain to me how to acquire templates directly from the site, or have current templates please help. Otherwise there is no point in having it.
Another issue was during the last update, I ended up with malware...genious box was somehow downloaded and cannot be uninstalled using Windows. I have to buy a max uninstaller to get rid of it. Any ideas on how to get rid of it for free?
Perhaps a moderator or someone with more knowledge could help, or combine threads if the answers are elsewhere.
