Normal IP still shows after IP Binding

Hello everyone,

I can't help but notice that whenever my VPN disconnects, my real IP can be seen in statistics and it concerns me.
I had Vuze bound to the TAP adapter, so what is my guarantee that the Binding actually works?

Or should I use a firewall to take care of it?
