New Computer
#1
I have used Vuze without issues on my computer with XP.  I had to change to Windows 7 and proceeded to DL Vuze  -again seemingly without issue. However when I search for a movie the only things that come up are variations on the title or audio files only on the movie.  I have removed and downloaded at least 3 times with the same results.  I do not know what is wrong and do not know what to do. I miss Vuze . Can anyone help?

Perhaps you had a different set of search templates on your old Vuze installation - see

http://wiki.vuze.com/w/FAQ_Meta_Search

for details on copying templates from one installation to another, or for details of custom search templates

According to the description of a custom template there is no way I did that.  I merely DL it as is.  Could there be a different version issue? ( I never paid attention to the version I originally DL'd.)  Have you ever heard of this problem before?  Is it hopeless?

When I say 'custom search template' I don't mean to imply that you go and create your own, rather that there may be ones in existence created by other people that you can find by searching the internet and install if they seem relevant

Thank you for your help and sorry I misunderstood. I just tried DL it again and looked at the torrents used to search and they seem to be the ones familiar to me, but it still didnt work.   So you think the answers in a search template? I will focus in that area then.  Thanks

I'm encountering the same problem.
Except I don't have the old computer to copy and transfer the templates from.
Any other suggestions on how to set it up to show the movies?
I'm not savvy with this at all, so more detail would be greatly appreciated.

Just wondering whether you were able to resolve the issue at all Susie?? I have also upgraded my hard drive to windows 7 - and now even though I have entered my vuze plus key and re-activated my account, I cannot seem to search for any new or recent torrents?

Would appreciate any advice to re-install correctly - I really miss my vuze! I don't have access to my old hard drive to get templates off it either :(
