Magnet download wont download

I'm new to this forum and needing help.  Downloaded Vuze but when I click on a magnet it wont connect to Vuze.
Nothing I try to download from many different sites wont work, its like it doesn't know how to connect to my computer

Please help been looking online for 2 hours now and I don't know what to do

I'm surprised there have been no replies as yet. 
What OS are you using?
Have you tried searching the forum for similar queries and possible remedies that were posted?  I just tried searching the words "magnet links" in the search box in the page header and got four pages of results to peruse.
