Checking all 3 boxes without filling the information silently crippled outbound communications while appearing to be green across the board. No NAT problem, torrents were turning green.
The thing is I don't remember fiddling with that setting.
The only clue that something was wrong was that all connections were remote ® and these messages appeared in the console.
{peer} Peer connection closed: failed to establish outgoing connection: Invalid port, connection to localhost/127.0.0.1:0 abandoned;

ISP: Optimum Online, using mostly wifi with home router and sometimes wired connection.
I think presenting an alert to check socks settings when 100% of outbound connections fails to localhost would save people a lot of pain.
