Incoming ports
#1
Hi

I have a question about how Vuze manages its ports. Does it create a new incoming port for each torrent so that all pieces for that torrent come through that? Or, does Vuze listen only on one port and multiplexes all connections going through that port? If that's the case, what if a peer sends all pieces through just one port?

Thanks

Vuze listens on one TCP/UDP port by default for all incoming torrent connections. Different peer connections are multiplexed - for TCP this multiplexing is managed by the computer's TCP network stack, for UDP it is managed by the uTP protocol implementation in Vuze.
