How to restore piece map in Peers tab
#1
Java 1.8.0_101 (64 bit)
 Oracle Corporation
c:\program files (x86)\java\jre1.8.0_101

SWT v4508, win32
Windows 7 v6.1, x86
V5.7.4.0/4 az3

When I  right click on a download, click Show Details and then click Peers tab, the lower pane used to display a Piece Map of the peer's file. This is very useful to see how many pieces the peer has that I want and vice versa. However, something happened and now there are only Files and Console tabs in the lower pane and no Piece Map. How can I restore the Piece Map, please?

right-click on one of the tab headers (e.g. Peers) - there should be a menu option to restore it

Thanks for your reply and sorry for the delay. At the time the problem had resolved itself and the Piece Map returned. However, that is consistent with my experience with this issue: the Piece map comes and goes from time to time. Perhaps that results from something I have done but I have no idea what it might be. I don't tend to play around with settings at all; I just use the same setup all the time.
if I right-click on a tab, as you suggest, the context menu is as follows:
Show Download Bar
Open File
Show in Explorer
Open in Explorer
Advanced
Revert File Location(s) [greyed out]
Assign Category
Tags
Queue [greyed out]
Force Start
Pause
Stop
Forc Re-check [greyed out]
Delete...
Media Server
Chat
Copy Magnet URI to Clipboard
Send to Friend [greyed out]
Ratings and Comments
Transcode For Device
Pop Out...

If I click on 'Advanced', the sub-menu is as follows:
Set Down Speed
Set Up Speed
Speed Limits
Tracker/Torrent
Files
Archive [greyed out]
Rename...
Find More Like This...
Quick View
Alerts
Export
Options/Info...
Peer Sources
Enable IP Filter
Networks
Pause For...
Reposition...

I have checked all the sub-menus and there is no mention of Piece Maps. Right now, the lower pane has just two tabs: Files and Console. I would love to be able to get the Piece Map back into that space but I guess it will return in its own good time. At least I hope it will.

You're probably clicking in the wrong place ;) Right-click on the blank area to the right of the last tab (in your case Console) in the bottom pane (i.e. where the next tab heading would be if there was one there)

The context menu in the space next to the tabs (Files and Console) in the lower pane has just two items:
Piece Distribution
Show sub-tabs in Library views (Re-start Required)

Selecting 'Piece Distribution' produces a bar graph showing distribution of pieces with various properties. I haven't tried the other item, which needs a restart, but I don't think it will restore the Piece Map.
