I found out how to tag items and they have a name and color. I see a folder on the sidebar. How do I get these tagged items to NOT show up in the Library, or, to just show up one time? (I downloaded a full season of TV shows as individual files.)

You can't hide them in the main library view at the moment - you could however create an 'untagged' tag that may achieve what you want
right-click on the existing tag in the sidebar, select 'show/hide tags' and select the 'untagged' one at the bottom.
