Well I just looked at the description of the plugin
Quote:
Offline downloader - automatically transfer downloads to your server.
The offline downloader is useful if you have a server machine that you want to take over downloading when your laptop (for example) is turned off/disconnected from your home network.
Install Vuze and the plugin on your server - the offline-downloader device will appear in your Vuze sidebar on your laptop (for example). Downloads started on your laptop will automatically be completed by the server when you are away.
So do you actually have another server?  Is it setup with vuze?  I have never heard of the plugin before but it seems to me that is where to start.

You did not mention another server so I suspect that is where you might be running into problems?

You need an actual computer running a torrent client for offline downloading/uploading to work.  Maybe your "shared webspace" can do that . . . I have no idea.

On your shared webspace you would have to be running a torrent client.  Are you doing that?

If you are not (or can not) offline downloading/uploading will not work for you.

I did not expect so.  But since it [shared webspace] is not something I use myself . . . I was not going to move out onto that limb LOL
