HELP! Interface Alert Settings Won't Save

I have the "Play a sound when the download is finished" option selected in the Interface: Alerts section of Preferences. Unfortunately, Vuze seems to forget this setting every time I close the application. Whenever I relaunch Vuze, I have to set up the alert all over again. (And yes, I always click "Save" before closing the dialog box.)

What can I do (if anything) to fix this? Surely this isn't by design, is it?

I'm using version 5.7.1.0 on a Mac running Yosemite.

Thanks so much for replying, and my apologies for my delayed response. To answer your question - no, it doesn't happen for other settings. For instance, changing the default language and saving that selection will indeed stick when the application is closed and then opened once again. It only seems to be an issue for the alert sound. Can't figure out why. It doesn't seem to matter if I use the default sound, or if I use one of my own, and I've experimented with using sound files on different drives to see if that makes a difference - which it doesn't. I'm at a loss.

In the end, it's not a huge deal to reset it each time I open the app, but considering that I'm using a paid version of Vuze, I would think any options offered would actually work as designed. Crossing my fingers that someone has a solution...
