El Capitan beta problem

Using Apples new El Capitan beta and I'm having trouble with Vuze. Getting hung up, spinning beach ball. Is it just me, or do they not play together yet?

I had the same problem after installing el capitan beta on my mac. Fixed it by downloading and installing the software again.

I am experiencing the same issue with B3.  B1 & B2 worked fine with Vuze.

Do you mean that you reinstalled the software for El Capitan or that you reinstalled the software for Vuze?

Yeah . I tried reinstalling Vuze... it did not help

there's an entry that states that 

• Some versions of Eclipse may hang during use.
  

so this may very well be affecting Vuze too. We'll keep watching this space...

Vuze is again fully operational on Macs after installing El Capitan OS X 10.11 Public Beta 2 (15A225f).

I recently upgraded to El Capitan OSX 10.11. Since then I have experienced several issues with Vuze. The issues began with magnet links not functioning. The app will start up and the vuze icon will bounce on the dock but nothing else happens. Also, clicking on downloaded torrent files will have the same effect. The only way to start a download has been to open the files manually from the Vuze app using the open torrents function. Now I am also having issues with Vuze freezing. The app window will close but the app won't shut down, force quitting has no effect. The app will state it is unresponsive but even killing it is not possible because Vuze does not show any processes in the terminal or activity monitor. Also, this vuze hangup will prevent my mac from restarting or shutting down, and the only way to restart function on vuze is to force a hard shutdown. 

Is this a fixable issue? All issues started after upgrading to El Capitan. Also, I tried reinstalling the app with no improvement.

I'm having this exact problem. Did you (or anyone) find any solutions?

I have had the problem with Vuze not opening correctly when you click on .torrent file before I upgraded to 10.11.1 (El Capitan).  It was very intermittent and I got in the habit of opening torrent files from within Vuze so I have not yet tried clicking on a .torrent file since I upgraded.  The next time I grab a .torrent file I will try and see if the error is still there.

Honestly it is not a big deal to me so I have not spent any time trying to suss it out.
