I have been downloading happily for years and recently tried originating torrents created with Vuze. Mostly they work fine but, in about 20% of cases (and more especially for larger uploads), I get "Download 'xxx': piece n has been corrupted, re-downloading" errors after several hours.
Since I am the originating seed, re-downloading never occurs as no-one else has the affected pieces, so I am wasting bandwidth, time and goodwill. The only idea I have is to withdraw the torrent and start over, which is unsatisfactory.
Despite the error message, the [untouched] files remain in good shape.
Ideas?
[I’ve read many a forum page, I don’t have NAT problems (I have green smilies) and my router is not in game mode.]
