Continually fluctuating speed

My download speed continues to flucuate like crazy.  Picture below. Download speed is about 5 mb/s and upload speed is 0.75 kb/s

Are you saving to an external USB drive? Sometimes file writes, especially when extending the file, can cause throughput drops, especially at the start of a download.

Your upload rate is pretty low - is this an ISP limit? You should set it to around 80% of your theoretical upload rate - try the Speed Test on the Help menu if you want guidance.

No just saving to my G: drive. My computer has about four 100 GB harddrives.  Now that I posted speed has been good for about 20 minutes..But this has been an occuring problem.  I made my uplaod speed limit to 65 kb/s...Is that what you mentioned I should do?
