Can't empty trashcan with missing file
#1
Hello-

A while back, I attempted to clean up my harddrive and delete some files that I never used/downloaded.  The trash wouldn't empty those files.  I've since gotten a new computer and after redownloading Vuze, it won't download any new files, citing that the file I had attempted to delete was missing....every new torrent was being seen as this missing file.

What can I do??!!  How can I get the two files to finally permanently delete from the computer...and get Vuze to recognize that they're no longer there?

Mac, windows, or unix?

I can tell you on Mac . . .

hold down the command (apple) key.
right click on the trash icon
chose Secure empty trash

That should do it.

If you are using a different OS . . . I can not help!
