Bogus Downloads

My first post hee though I've used Vuze for quite a while. I'm not sure if this is the right place to post my question but it is a start. I've been using Vuze for awhile and every now and then I find a download that requires downloading of a specific type of viewer. Many have been fakes that lead from ste to site others have been legit. The question is there is one source/peer where everything posted requires downloads of different viewers. Is there a way to exclude downloads from the source or peer?

There are a lot of scams about, some of which target torrent downloads.

Ultimately it is up to individuals to ascertain the validity of whatever it is they're doing, be it clicking on a link in an email insisting that their PayPal account has been suspended, or when selecting what they download.
