Automatic download problem

Hello,

before when I was downloading a torrent, vuze is launched automatically and the download started immediately.

Now when I download a torrent, I must go to the download folder, look for the link and open it with vuze for the download begins.

How to fix it please?
An indication in the settings ??

That is usually determined in your browser settings.  It is going to depend upon which browser you are using on which OS and which version of that OS you are using.

So give us that info and maybe someone here can help.  If no one here can help you might need to ask in the support forums for your browser.

Hi I have this issue - it downloads automatically on one laptop but not on the other 2. All 3 use google chrome. Windows 7 for 2 and wondows 10 for one. It works on one of the windows 7.

I do not use windows nor google chrome.  I can not give you specific advice.

I can tell you that on a Mac running Firefox the option to bind particular file types to a program are located in Preferences->Application

I am pretty sure that Chrome has a similar feature.  The bottom line is that you have to tell chrome what to do with a .torrent file.  There should be a setting/preference setting in your browser to do that.

If you can not find that setting you can wait to see if someone else can help . . . or you can try the/a chrome forum.
