First totally uninstall Vuze.

To do it, you need to drag the Vuze to trash from application, and than go to Application Support to delete the Vuze folder.

How to get to Application Support?

  • first click that finder to make it active
  • hold down the OPTION key while you click on GO menu, then you will see the LIBRARY, and click on that. Note: library icon will disappear as soon you release the option key.
  • in Library, you will see Application Support. And just open it to find Vuze folder

After you have completely deleted Vuze, reinstall it again.

Make sure that Vuze is not running when you delete the files, and also delete the bak files too

Uninstaling Vuze is not the answer as the files remember your settings, so make sure that Vuze is just not running when you delete the files and not uninstalled
