Optimum transcode settings for Sony BDP-S370

Hi all - long time reader, first time poster!

I have used Vuze to transcode videos to my 360 for ages, but now that I have the Bluray player mentioned above, I'd like to make the most of being able to playback 5.1 sound instead of transcoding to 2ch.

I have a series of video files which I'm trying to run via DNLA to my Sony bluray player, but it doesn't support playback over the network when they are encoded with AVC - It only supports them when they are connected directly to the player via a usb drive.

Ideally, I want all of my files to be accessible over the network without having to mess with USB's, etc.

My question to you guys is, is there a profile to transcode videos to this Sony player with no frame scaling or loss in sound channels (ideally keeping the 6ch surround if it exists)? Would need to convert the video from H264/AVC as it doesn't like it via DNLA.

If so, you have made my day - If not, I'll keep copying away! :(

Thanks in advance,
gingamonkey
