3D View not working

Anyone got any idea why 3D View isn't working under Az3053?
Worked fine in previous versions of Az. But since the latest betas, it takes ages to start and then displays an empty tab (if anything).
I'm using the latest version of 3D view (0.30).
JBV^_^
Az 3053B20, Java 1.6U10, Vista64HP
NOTE: I'd post a screencapture, but it's decided not to work at all at the moment. No tab, no nothing. And I can't be bothered to restart az just to get a screencapture of an empty tab<_<

Here's the debug report while 3d view's running, plus a couple of screencaptures too. (and it's version 0.3.0, not 0.30)

Doesn't 3DView require the OpenGL DLL? Did it work before in Vista64? Because I think that a 64-enabled DLL would have to be in use.

Washii, re-read the original post. It stopped working with the newest beta.

You can download and install this plugin through Tools>Plugins>Installation Wizard, by list from Sourceforge and it will be at the top of the list.
Tick the box to install and follow the Wizard.
Plugins are listed here:

I've got the same problem. 3D View stopped working after 3.0.5.3 betas and now i have Vuze 3.1.0.1 B13 and it is still not working.
P.S. I've got Vista x64 SP1

I am having similar problems. Used AZ 2.4.0.5 installed with 3dview without any problems ever.
Old system was XP32 on Nvidia 8600, new system (latest version of Vuze, 3.1.1.0) is Vista32 on Nvidia 8800.
Occasionaly, clicking to view the 3d tab closes Vuze completely without a crash message. When it doesn't close my AZ, the 3d animation window is empty no matter which active torrent I click on.
Hope there still support on this plugin, it's a cool one.

If people are still having problems with the plugin - could you make sure that you are using the latest version of the plugin (0.3.1 at the time of writing), and the latest version of Vuze.
Then if it's still happening, please post debug logs for us to have a look at.

Could you try using the classic view on vista rather than aero and test?

Funny thing, it started working again.
No changes to anything, the same Java, version 0.3.1 of 3D view, the only change being the use of Az3111, and it didn't work with the early version of that either (think it was B09 or B10 that it started working).
FYI, it had been working fine under Vista64 with aero enabled. I still have no idea why it stopped.
Thanks for trying.

Nearly. Could you try to open up the 3D View, and once it fails, generate a debug log immediately after that? Any errors that might be there have been pushed out by other errors instead.

No, that's no good, unfortunately. I did see some crash logs though - is Vuze crashing frequently for you?

yeah crashes a fair bit, a few times a day, funnily enough only during the day so I restart it fairly promptly, it runs all night happily though, kinda funny must be my interaction with it during that day thats causing problems . The 3dview doesn't actually cause any errors to appear, it's just blank, I think i'll just forget about it as it doesn't seem to be a problem with a lot of people, just me

Yea as I was saying my 3d view plugin is not working - it's just a blank grey screen. Anyway I picked up an MSI Wind netbook, cute little thing, well I enabled remote desktop viewer on my PC so I could connect to it from my bed and manage my transfers, I'm lazy lol, and guess what in the Remote Desktop client the Plugin is working perfectly , I was amazed, checked my pc to see had it started working again by itself and no it's still a dirty big grey screen, but here it is working beautifully when I connect via remote desktop, how crazy is that !

If you are using Vista, it's not a total surprise since it apparently doesn't work under Aero, but works fine under classic graphics mode.

Well, I doubt most people would think to check a spiffy UI.
I mean, having a spiffy UI or not shouldn't affect graphics-driven software, right ? </sarcasm>
Glad to hear it at least works in one mode, though.

So People are still having problems with this.
FYI, it now works for me. Vista64 with aero active. Java 1.6u10 (can't remember the beta version - think it's 14)
At I stated earlier, it stated working as suddenly as it stopped. zero changes to java or Vista.
I've just re-installed vista (powercut damaged the install - iPod killed it). 3D View was installed and worked first time.

Posts old but wanted to say it helped me out. I to like the visual appearance of 3D view. But it would not work for me either. Same gray screen with nothing there just the tab and list of running torrents. . Anyway changed desktop to windows standard and guess what, 3D view works fine. Hope there's a fix for this some time. I like my 3D view but prefer my windows AERO.

I'm having a similar problem. I open the 3d View tab and it works. When I switch to a different tab and switch back to the 3d view tab it becomes completely blank, but the other tab continue working properly. I'm running Vuze 4.7.0.2 with Java 1.6.0 build 29 under Mac OS X 10.7.2 and no I don't have an ATI graphics card. The plugin used to work before I updated Vuze a few versions ago, but it hasn't worked since.

Hello,
I've only seen this occur when there is an issue with OpenGL. Have you seen any error messages referring to this?
Thanks in advance,
